# CVE-2024-11349: Authentication Bypass Using an Alternate Path or Channel (CWE-288)

## Overview

This vulnerability has severe implications for WordPress sites using the AdForest theme. Attackers can bypass authentication and gain unauthorized access to user accounts, including those with administrative privileges. This leads to complete compromise of the affected WordPress sites, allowing attackers to modify content, install malicious plugins, access sensitive information, or perform any action available to an administrator.

## Vulnerability Description

The vulnerability is caused by improper verification of user identity during authentication through the sb_login_user_with_otp_fun() function. This allows you to log in as arbitrary users, including administrators.
